Karen Khachatryan, an actor at Sos Sargsyan National Theatre, is concerned with Amulsar gold mining project risks, particularly related with Jermuk resort.

'I'm really concerned with the destiny of Jermuk resort town and the fate of mineral water. It's national wealth, not just for one day or for 10 days. I can personally say as soon as the mine is developed, I won't go to Jermuk and won't drink this water. I think many people will think like me,' actor Karen Khachatryan said in his interview with EcoLur.

'I was having rest in Jermuk resort house no. 1. I was told this resort house should be closed and given for rent to become a kind of dorm for workers. People were worried about losing their jobs,' Karen Khachatryan said and added, 'It hits our tourism business. I could see newly built buildings in Jermuk such as hotels and very luxurious resort houses. Big money has been invested there, but nobody will visit Jermuk in near future. Stakehlders should understand it.'
