CNF Invested 4 Million Euros in Armenia Over 10 Years

The Caucasus Nature Fund has invested over 4 million Euros for the conservation of biodiversity in Armenia over 10 years, as it was announce at the event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Fund held on 13 June 2019.

The Caucasus Nature Fund is implementing financial support to the conservation of biodiversity in the specially protected areas of nature: the funds have been provided to a number of specially protected areas of nature under the coordination of RA Nature Protection Ministry to co-fund the current expenses. For 2019, the CNF has already allocated around 370,000 Euros and the same amount is planned for transfer in the near future. Currently, the pain partners of the CNF are “Khosrov Forest” State Reserve, “Dilijan” and “Arpi Litch” National Parks, “Zangezour” Biosphere Complex and “Arpa” (ex “Gnishik”) preserved landscape.

In the course of this event, “Mountains of Armenia” book by Tigran Varaz published with the CNF support was presented and a short film was screened telling about the operations of the Caucasus Nature Fund.
