The Nature Protection Ministry
Recently the mass media published that allegedly other fish or hybrid species are let out into Lake Sevan together with Geghrakouni (Sevan trout) and summer trout species- a measure, which is funded by the government. The Nature Protection Ministry denies any possibility of letting out other fish species into Lake Sevan, as the Ministry supervises all the process starting from the selection of matricular selection to the appropriate sizes of the young fish and letting out into the lake.
