"Taking into consideration the recent issues in the management of Yerevan Zoo, in particular, the recent incidents, I have suggested to Yerevan Zoo SNCO Director Ruben Khachatryan to submit a letter of resignation in consultation with Mayor Hayk Marutyan," Deputy Yerevan Mayor Tigran Virabyan posted on Facebook social network.
Ruben Khachatryan accepted the offer via the same source, Yerevan Municipality Press Secretary Hakob Karapetyan.
As reported earlier, stray dogs gobbled three kangaroos and mouflon in the last two days in Yerevan Zoo.
