WWF Armenia cameras have shot a Caucasian Leopard in Areviq National Park: the leopard has been detected in the course of monitoring carried out by WWF Armenia in partnership with RA Nature Protection Ministry, Zangezour Biosphere Complex SNCO, Khosrov Forest State Reserve and Caucasus Nature Fund within the Leopard Conservation Project, as WWF Armenia informs.
It should be mentioned that 2019 is announced a year of Caucasian Leopard, which is red-listed in Armenia and in the IUCN as critical.
