90 Days in Mashtots Park

The green activists celebrated their victory in Mashtots Park on 13 May. They gathered everybody who was not indifferent and wished this victory to come true. Postcards were disseminated, one of them shows photos of the events occurred within the last three months and a particle of concrete attached to it, which symbolizes the park which was left without being concreted, while the pavilions were dismantled. A movie was shown about these three months. People were singing songs and making speeches. At a distance the policemen were observing all this, who also spent 3 months in the park, but not willfully, but under the order. Among the joy and merriment the park supporters didn’t forget about their requirements:

To recognize all the decisions of the municipality null and void which refer to the pavilions in the public zone,

To bring to justice all those who applied disproportionate actions of pressure towards the park supporters,

To find out, at whose expenses the pavilions were installed and then dismantled.

Finally, the project on park reconstruction should be agreed with those who protected and defended this park.

“We have been telling for three months – the park is ours. And now we say – the park belongs to everybody,” said the activists.
