Yesterday, at 5:30 a.m., an explosion blew up in the territory of ‘Armenian Molybdenum Production’ Company. Though a number of people received burns of different degrees, but fortunately, no fire burst out as a result of this explosion. Several employees were taken to the Scientific Center for Radiation Medicine and Burns. The state of two people out of four is heavy, and they are placed in the reanimation unit of the Center. The state of the other is medium. Under preliminary data, they all have burns of 2-4 degree.
The administration of ‘Armenian Molybdenum Production’ Company tried to assure till yesterday’s accident that “It pays special attention to security, health and improving sanitary-hygienic conditions for the employees.”
Now, when it seems to get clear how they pay attention to the security.
“It’s already several years since this company hasn’t undergone any expert assessment with us, they underwent expert assessment with the private company, and we know how the things go there,” said Major General Ashot Petrosyan, Director of National Center for Technical Security.
The newspaper managed to learn from the company in recent years, at least in 2011, the company underwent expert assessment at “Dami” LLC, headed by David Sargsyan who is the nephew of Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan.
