RA Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body is implementing an administrative proceedings to reveal and the causes of the environmental pollution in Masis Town and to eliminate them, as Press Secretary of RA Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body Vruyr Pepanyan said in his interview with EcoLur.
Reminder: recently the mass media has beaten an alarm signal that the stink spread in Masis Town is due to the fire in Nairit Plant. RA Ministry for Emergency States and RA Nature Protection Ministry made an announcement that RA Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body of RA Nature Protection Ministry took samples from the technical sewage pipeline and air basin, while the relevant lab analyses show that a number of substances in the fluid and atmospheric air have significantly exceeded the maximum permissible concentrations. ‘The concentration of the substances detected in the fluid having undergone the lab analysis denies the claim they contain the results of the fire broken out in Nairit Plant.’
The Press Secretary of RA Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body Vruyr Pepanyan told Ecolur that samples have been taken from 13th-kilometer-section of the sewage hole located on the road running from Ayntap to Masis on 27 September, and not from the residential area. It has been found out that the maximum permissible concentration of carbon dioxide (SO2) has been exceeded by 50 times, while that of ammonium (NH3) – 10 times.
