On July 5, at 21:18 pm, a call was received that a grassy area was burning in Tsitsernakaberd highway, near "Dalma Garden Mall" area. Four fire brigades arrived at the place. It is announced "Bis 1" category fire complexity. The fire was isolated at 22:37 pm and was extinguished at 23.01 am. The fire took about 15 hectares of vegetation-covered areas. It has been a week that weather forecasters every day warn about high temperature and fire danger cases. Vrezh Gabrielyan, Major General and Deputy Director of Resque Service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations also informed about this during press conferance on July 2 at “EcoLur” Press Club. He mentioned that fire cases of vegetation-covered areas mostly occur in Yerevan, which is unforgivable for the capital.
