Deputy Chair of 'Armenian Botanical Society' NGO, Dr in Biological Sciences, Professor Gohar Oganezova has proposed RA Acting Nature Protection Minister Erik Grigoryan and RA Environmental and Mining Inspection Head Arthur Grigoryan to establish an expert group to determine the plant species detected in Amulsar area. Her letter addressed to the officials says, 'I'm writing to you on behalf of  'Armenian Botanical Society' NGO. As we may know there is a tension emerged several members of 'Armenian Botanical Society' NGO in regard to the determination of newly found Acantholimon. The res-list status of the newly-found plant is being debated. The substance has been collected from the part of Amulsar owned by Amulsar Armenia.

I think this problem has an easy solution if there will be an opportunity to gather all the experts having worked with this plant – M. Hovhannisyan, A. Nersisyan, I. A. Arevshatyan and N. Zaqaryan (unfortunately,  'Armenian Botanical Society' NGO Chair E. Gabrielyan will be out of the country by the spring), as well as to invite several other members of 'Armenian Botanical Society' NGO and seek to determine the species of this plant as again using the key for determination authored by M. Oganezian and published in Volume 1 of 'Takhtajania' journal (2011). If there is a tendency to invite a foreign specialist as well, I think it is necessary for the group of the aforementioned experts to work with this expert.
