Inspection Body of Environment Ministry is going to supervise the operation of "Argichi" SHPP built on the Argitchi River, Gegharkunik Region. Vrezh Galoyan, Deputy Head of Nature Protection and Mining Inspection Body, stated this in response to EcoLur's inquiry on August 31, in its reply letter no. 01/24/3154-20.
It should be noted that Inspection Body responded to EcoLur's alarm signal on the last day of August, when the ban on water intake by Argitchi SHPP ends, as, according to the SHPP water use permit, the SHPP should not have worked only in August.
