On 30 December 2017 Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body of RA Nature Protection Ministry detected 141 illegally cut down trees on Gyulagarak-Stepanavan road in Lori Region, as Press Secretary of Inspection Body Vruyr Pepanyan told EcoLur.
'ArmForest' SNCO Press Secretary Lusine Hakobyan said that a part of the felled down trees are located in the area owned by 'ArmForest' SNCO, while the other part is located in the areas of Gyulagarak and Amrakits communities.
Currently, the Inspection Body is assessing the extent of the damage caused to the environment because of illegal tree felling.
