Within the framework of his working visit to Moscow, RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan met with Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak. During the meeting, the interlocutors referred to the further implementation of the necessary works in the direction of the project "North-South Energy Corridor".
The parties agreed to intensify discussions at the professional level in order to develop the project's feasibility study and finalize other technical solutions.
It should be noted that the North-South Energy Corridor regional program was signed between Armenia, Georgia, Russia and Iran. It aims to unite the power systems of the four countries, to increase the level of mutual management.
