RA government continues to provide customs allowances for the development of solar energy. On September 14, 2023, according to RA government's decision, "SOLAR-5" LLC was granted a customs allowance to import transformers and transformer oils, as learn from the official website of the government.
The company operates a 5-MW solar plant operating in Aghberk settlement of Shoghakat Community, Gegharkunik Region. The value of the goods presented to receive the allowance makes up 60.6 million AMD, the extent of exemption from customs duty makes up 4.8 million AMD.
