Singapore Government To Support Rehabilitation of Yerevan Botanical Garden

There is a preliminary agreement that the Singapore Government will assist the Armenian Government with the rehabilitation of the Yerevan Botanical Garden: Nikol Pashinyan presented the arrangements reached during the World Economic Forum in Davos at the consultation with the heads of departments representing the government’s economic block on 26 January.
' There is a preliminary agreement that the Singapore Government will assist us with the rehabilitation of the Yerevan Botanical Garden, considering that Singapore has a world-famous botanical garden. The Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore assured that the issue could be solved, and the Yerevan municipality will submit a specific project with the Ministry of Nature Protection, the official website of the Armenian Government informs.
 
It should be mentioned that Yerevan Botanical Garden is included in the Institute of Botany of NAS RA. This 83-year-old garden is in charge of the conservation of the genetic pool of the national and world species.
 
During the World Economic Forum in Davos Pashinyan also held a discussion with other international partners, 'As you may know, we are working with the VTB Bank to reach the settlement of the situation around Teghut,' the PM noted.
 
During the meeting with the President of Switzerland, an agreement was reached that the Swiss side will support our country in the field of water resource management because Switzerland boasts advanced experience in this sphere.
 
'In general, I can say that our country enjoys a positive atmosphere in political terms, which should be used to get economic benefits,' the Prime Minister said.
