More than 100 trees are in danger of being destroyed as a result of laying a water pipeline in Jermuk Town park. EcoLur has received an alarm signal from Jermuk resident Makedon Aleksanyan. The photos show that the root systems of many trees have been cut so that the roots have become firewood. Aleksanyan has applied to Territorial Division of Environmental and Soil Inspection. He was told that it was done all in accordance with the approved plan. "It is unclear who approved the plan and struck the green area of the park," Aleksanyan told EcoLur.
Vandalism continues in the town park.
