"RESILAND: Resilient Landscapes of Armenia" project will be carried out by EBRD and SIDA with grants provided by the Agency and the Global Ecological Fund.
The measures provided for in the agreement derive from a number of priorities of the Government's program, such as :
- sustainable forest management
- conservation of biodiversity
- effective management of specially protected natural areas
- implementation of reclamation of disturbed areas as a result of subsoil use
- approximation of national legislation to EU environmental protection legislation in accordance with the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.
