In 2018 Caucasus Nature Fund Provided Over 966,000 Euros to Armenia

In 2018, the Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) provided over 966,000 Euros to Armenia: the main support has been provided to specially protected areas of nature.

'Around 258,000 Euros have been provided to Dilijan National Park, 187,000 Euros to Khosrov Forest State Reserve, 116,000 Euros to Arpa Litch National Park, 109,000 Euros to Zangezour Biosphere Complex, 45,000 Euros to Arpa environmental Foundation. Over 17,000 Euros have been provided to Sevan National Park, around 3000 Euros to Reserve Park Complex and Zikatar Environmental Center,' CNF Public Relations Officer Marine Karapetyan informed EcoLur.

In specially protected areas of nature, the CNF has provided 178,000 Euros to RA Nature Protection Ministry for jointly implemented projects. According to Karapetyan, in 2019 the CNF will continue providing financial support to 'Khosrov Forest' State Reserve, Arpi Litch and Dilijan National Parks, Zangezour Biosphere Complex and Arpa (Gnishik) Environmental Foundation.
