The government has approved the budget for the program of forest protection from 2013 to 2015. The program is designed for protecting forests from pests, recovery of forest territories exposing to degradation, recovery of forest cover, rational use of forests, decrease in illegal felling, protection from fires etc. For these purposes, it will be allotted from the state budget as follows: 717,973,100 in 2013, 732,757,100 AMD in 2014 and 875,928,500 in 2015. About 84% of the allotted funds is proposed to be director for salaries.
