Staff Head of the Armenian Prime Minister Eduard Aghajanyan denies the relation of the dismissal of Ex-Head of Environmental and Mining Inspection Arthur Grigoryan with Amulsar gold mine.

'There are certain concerns that Arthur Grigoryan's dismissal had a direct relation to Lydian and that Arthur's resignation paved a way for Amulsar and that the matter will be solved in favor of Amulsar, which I want to deny,' said Eduard Aghajanyan during his interview with the Azatutyun radio station.

Eduard Aghajanyan also denied having problems with consensus. In reply to the observation that Nikol Pashinyan signed the decision on dismissing Arthur Grigoryan from Davos, Switzerland, Aghajanyan responded, 'He didn't sign from Davos.' On 21 January 2019, under Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan’s decision Head of RA Environmental and Mining Inspection Arthur Grigoryan was dismissed from his office. On that day Pashinyan was in Switzerland on a working visit.
