The experts from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague are taking samples in Alaverdi and Akhtala communities to fund out more about the chemical pollution in the areas under the impact of mining and metallurgical enterprises. Particularly, this research aims to reveal the cause-and-reason bond between human health and the environment.

On 22 July, the working group of “Centre for Community Mobilization and Support”, “EcoLur” and Czech “Arnika” NGOs together with the experts of the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague visited Sanahin, Engels neighbourhoods in Alaverdi community and Aqori residential area, where took samples from the soil in the personal plots, vegetables, fruit, greens, as well as biosamples.
