The meeting was attended by representatives of Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine, Vallex Group, Teghut, Akhtala Ore Processing Plant, Agarak Copper Molybdenum Combine, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan Office, Ministries of Environment, Economy, MES and State Revenue Committee. "The operation of the metallurgical copper production company will play a major role in the development of the republic's economy, will create a gross domestic product, but at the same time it is high risk. In order to build a metallurgical plant, deep and comprehensive studies must be carried out, serious technical and economic justifications elaborated, and it is very important that all this is done after a competent, preliminary study and answering all the questions,” Lilia Shushanyan said, TAI Deputy Minister. It was agreed that the companies should submit to the Ministry the complete package of problems and risks they are considering within two weeks.
