Teghout Mining Expansion Project Expert Assessment Stopped

Teghout Copper and Molybdenum Mining Expansion Project by 15 million tons per year submitted by “Teghout” CJSC and the expert assessment process has been stopped, as “Center for Environmental Impact Expert Assessment” SNCO of Nature Protection Ministry informed EcoLur.

“We have given a technical assignment in regard with the Teghout Project, as the materials we had received didn’t match our technical assignment, it was sent for supplementing and amendments. Currently, the expert assessment process is considered to be stopped,” “Center for Environmental Impact Expert Assessment” SNCO informed.

Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body will carry out inspections in “Teghout” CJSC in 2018.
