ANPP Has Financial Obligations of 10 Billion AMD

“The ANPP has collected financial obligations, which account for around 9-9.5 billion AMD. The financial obligations have arisen due to the management of borrowings and loaning funds. We should be able to have more efficient management in upcoming years,” said Energy and Natural Resources Minister Yervand Zakharyan in his interview given to the journalists at ANPP, says the official website of Energy and Natural Resources Ministry. Under this source, Yervand Zakharyan has also covered the construction of a new nuclear power unit and informed that the new power unit would cost around 4.5 billion USD.

“A part of the funds will be provided by Russia in the forms of goods and equipment, the rest will be obtained in the course of the negotiations with other countries through financial aids,” Zakharyan said. He mentioned that the construction of ANPP power unit is planned to be carried out in 2018-2019.
