A criminal case has been initiated against Noratuz Branch Director of Sevan National Park and his son. As the official website of the Armenian Police informs, the police have received operative data that the director of Noratuz Branch of Sevan National Park has been carrying out illegal tree felling, while the director’s son has been processing the felled down trees in his sawmill. On 3 October the policemen found logs and boards in his sawmill without any documents showing the origin of obtaining. The damage caused to nature is being specified, a criminal case has been initiated, while the circumstances of the case are being investigated.
