On 16 December, Facebook user Lusine Taslakyan beat an alarm signal on the sale of wild animal furs near the entrance to the Garni Temple.

“They said it was a wild jungle cat, I asked the price – 50,000 AMD. There were also foxes, while the black one is a died fox,’ Lusine Taslakyan wrote and also posted photos.

Based on this alarm signal, the employees of Kotayq Regional Department of RA Environmental and Mining Inspection Body visited and detected furs of 2 foxes and one wolf on the spot. ‘At this moment, furs of other animals posted in the alarm signal haven’t been detected,” Inspection Body informed.

The materials prepared by Inspection Body on this case have been handed to the police for additional investigation.
