On May 5, 2020, news about the resignation of Environment Minister Erik Grigoryan was spread in the mass media.
In his conversation with EcoLur, Davit Grigoryan, the Minister's spokesman, neither confirmed nor denied the news. "I can't comment at this moment," he said.
The letter of resignation of the Minister must be signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan. There is no information about this on the official website of the Prime Minister yet.
In 2018-2019 Erik Grigoryan was the Minister of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia, and since 2019 he has been holding the office the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia.
