On 30 August a fire broke out in the downward part of 'Haghartsin' section of Dilijan National Park SNCO, near the community landfill site. The fire was localized and extinguished with the efforts of the national park employees. No essential damage has been caused to the forest and around 1 ha of the grass-covered area has been burnt down.
In the ranges of the same hour, a fire broke out in the community are near Gosh section, which was also localized and extinguished. The fire hasn't penetrated into the forest fire.
In the burnt-down sections of 'Khosrov Forest' State Reserve, there are still smoking spots. The rescuers of the reserve and MES NAS RA still carry out neutralization works with 24/7 set control.
