On 11 December 2018, the police received a report from Stepanavan Forestry Enterprise of ArmForest SNCO that it was detected during the inspection on 28 November that an unidentified person had cut down 24 trees of different species and diameters in the area of Gyulagarak forestry enterprise in Stepanavan.
Within the initiated criminal case, it was found out on 3 April these trees had illegally been cut down by Shahen Gh. born in 1992 and transported to the yard of his house for the heating purposes with the help of Vahe Sh. Born in 1987 and Aharon G. born in 1981 by the truck owned by the latter at the end of November 2018. The preliminary investigation is in progress.
