During the period from April 28 to May 2, the employees of Nature Protection and Mining Inspection confiscated 15 hanging ("screen") fishing nets and 1 hunting rifle from the water areas near Hovtashen and Ranchpar villages in Ararat Region, and fishermen from Azat Reservoir (Zovashen) 2 nets with a total length of 200 meters. As Nature Protection and Mining Inspection informs, administrative proceedings will be instituted in connection with the confiscation of a hanging fishing net and a hunting rifle, and administrative proceedings have already been initiated in the case of the installation of a fishing net in the Azat Reservoir.
