On August 14, at 6 pm, information was received from Arevik National Park that there were smoking huts in the forest near the Lehvaz-Vardanidzor highway in Syunik Region: 2 hectares of vegetation have burnt down, there are about 25 smoking areas.
On August 16, at 06:30 am, the fire started in the forest. Firefighter-rescuers have cut down five tree trunks. At 09:00 firefighting was stopped. There are no smoking rooms.
