At the meeting on 30 March the executive permitted to provide 1250 ha of community land areas on leasing to 'Access Infra Central Asia Limited' Company registered in the UAE. These land areas are provided to carry out examinations necessary for the production of renewable wind power. These land areas are located within the administrative zones of Tsaghkunq, Ddmashen and Zovaber communities in Gegharkounik Region and Meghradzor and Hrazdan communities in Kotayq Region.
Minister for Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Ashot Manukyan pointed out that the capacity of the anticipated wind mills will make up to 150 MW, while the extent of investments will make up US $ 150 million.
