1475 Trees Have Been Illegally Cut Down in Dsegh Forestry Enterprise: Case Filed to Court

The law enforcement bodies have detected another case of illegal tree felling in Lori Region. According to Public Relations Department of RA General Prosecutor's Office,  the criminal case initiated by Lori Regional Prosecutor's Office on illegal felling of 1475 trees in the area of Dsegh Forestry Enterprise of ArmForest SNCO, abuse of powers by the officials in the same branch and negligently causing serious consequences, was sent to court.

Recently Head of “Spitak” Forestry Enterprise G.S. and Forester S. K. guarding 10th section (a resident of Spitak Town) have been charged with illegal felling of 408 trees of different species in the artificial pine tree park area of protective significance at Spitak Forestry Enterprise of “Gugark Forestry Economy” Branch in Lori Region.
