On September 16-20, RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Suren Papikyan met with the acting Director General of the IAEA Cornel Feruta at the 63rd General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna. Issues related to Armenia's cooperation with the IAEA were discussed during the meeting.
"As a country operating a nuclear power plant, we attach great importance to our cooperation with the organization and express our satisfaction with the assistance provided to Armenia," Suren Papikyan noted.
Cornel Feruta, for his part, assured that cooperation with Armenia would be continuous, expressing readiness to provide comprehensive expert and technical support to Armenia's nuclear energy sector.
