Environmental information databases is planned to establish in Armenia within the system of RA Nature Protection Ministry, where complete quantitative and qualitative information related to the environmental components will be collected. The establishment of the environmental information databases is included in the second stage of the unified information databases among the EaP member countries.
“The formation of unified information databases is one of the requirements of the European Union. The country should have its data on water, precipitation, eroded soil, ozone layer etc,” said Armenian Side Project Coordinator Yura Poghosyan at the seminar held in Yerevan on 6 December.
