The RA Police has detected a bribery case in the forestry enterprise. On 23 November the police stopped a truck on Kapan-Yerevan highway, where 24.9 cubic meters of timber and 3.64 cubic meters of construction wood was detected. As the police informs, the truck driver bought the timber from Kapan forestry enterprise for 250,000 AMD. Nevertheless, besides receiving permit for timber, he bribed forestry officer Andranik Hayrapetyan in the amount of 105,000 AMD. Andranik Hayrapetyan is released against countersignature. The investigation is in progress.
