EcoLur continues to present declarations on the real owners of the companies operating the metal mines in Armenia, which were published within the framework of EITI on the website of State Register Agency of Legal Entities of RA Justice Ministry.
In this publication, we will cover the declaration submitted by Assat LLC having a soil management right to Qaraberd gold-polymetallic mine in Lori Region.
Claimant of Gladzor Mine - Owner of Company
"Assat" LLC was registered on April 22, 1999. On this very day, the first real owner revealed in the declaration, Aram Osikyan, a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, acquired 100% shares in the company. The latter is also Director of "Vayk Metal" LLC, which has been trying to get permission for several years to operate Gladzor gold-polymetallic mine in Vayots Dzor Region. A real judicial mess has been evolving around this issue.
The second real owner revealed in the declaration is again RA citizen Gevorg Osikyan. He is the head of the company's executive body. Gevorg Osikyan is also Director of “Vedi-Alco” CJSC.
