On the eve of World Water Day, which is traditionally celebrated on 22 March, on 20 March, at 11:00 EcoLur Press Club will host a press conference dedicated to the water safety in Armenia. How do we need water and whether “water hunger” may occur? What’s the cost of water and whether it will go up? Which programs comply with the concept of water safety and whether any control is exercised over the performance of obligations by Yerevan Jur and Armwatercanal companies? What are the rivers polluted with? And, finally, whether the State Committee on Water Industry will demand more water outlets from Lake Sevan? EcoLur Press Club will host Mher Mkrtumyan, Head of Staff of State Committee on Water Industry, who speak on these matters, while EcoLur President Inga Zarafyan will present the data on river pollution.
