Tandzout and Armavir Communities Don’t Use Sevan Water EcoLur Additional water outlets from Lake Sevana are imitation, as Armavir villagers think in Amravir Region. “At the expense of the villagers they want to add water outlets to make the cascade operate, to sell the electricity they get at high prices to the people, and then call all this agriculture,” Armavir villagers said. It’s about Sevan-Hrazdan cascade, which consists of seven SHPPs located on the Hrazdan River. “The water from Lake Sevan won’t get us, we don’t have anything in common with the problem,” Armavir Community Head Rafik Margaryan said, “We use the water from Araks and Akhuryan river, mainly we use the water from the Araks River.”
