The water intake from Lake Sevan was resumed on October 15, 2019. As of October 17, 141,833 million cubic meters of water was taken from the lake. At the same time, 152,504 million cubic meters of water flowed into the lake through Arpa-Sevan tunnel. The abstraction from Lake Sevan was stopped on September 25. As of that day, 140,954 million cubic meters of water had been released from the lake.
No more than 170 million cubic meters of water may be taken from Lake Sevan this year. As of October 18, the level of Lake Sevan is 1900.55 m, which is 5 cm higher than the index of the same day last year - 1900.50 m.
