Lake Sevan Level Increased By 37 cm Since Beginning of Year

Starting from 23 May the level of Lake Sevan has been increasing thus equaling the level for the same day last year. So far the level of the lake was lower as compared with that last year.

At the beginning of 2019, the level of the lake has increased by 37 cm and made up 1900.74 meters as of 30 May 2019. The transfer of the water especially through Arpa-Sevan aqueduct has promoted the increase in the lake level. This year 81.963 million cum water has already been transferred to Lake Sevan.
