An individual program and code of conduct should be developed for Sevan, as the newly appointed RA Environment Minister, Ex Kotayk Regional Head Romanos Petrosyan mentioned on August 4 during "Facebook press conference" by "Azatutyun" radio station.
“My vision for resolving the Sevan problem is, first and foremost, to stop the activities of more than 300 illegal businesses on Lake Sevan shores and free the shores from the barbaric occupation of structures, buildings, mechanisms and infrastructures we are eye witnessing today.”
Romanos Petrosyan informed during the press conference that he was going to pay a working visit to "Sevan" National Park next Saturday. "On that day, we will present the whole picture that we are planning to carry out in the areas under the jurisdiction of "Sevan" National Park, up to the decisions on demolition of illegal site developments and cancellation of land seizures. There are about 3,800 buildings and pavilions, which are subject to dismantling and demolition.
