415, 883,800 AMD (around 1 million USD) will be allotted from the state budget for the conservation, recovery, reproduction and natural development of Lake Sevan ecosystem for 2014, which includes 125,400,000 AMD for cleaning 95 ha of forest layers.
7,624,300 AMD will be provided for species resources, including the examination of fish and crawfish resources, fish reproduction conditions and the current state of natural spawning sites.
60,000,000 AMD will be provided for the reproduction of valuable and rare fish species.
222,859,500 AMD will be provided for the research of natural ecosystems, landscape and biodiversity, genetic pool, and natural heritage conservation.
The bill was approved by the Armenian Government at the meeting on 28 September and will be submitted to the National Assembly.
