Lake Sevan Level Continues Decreasing

The level of Lake Sevan is decreasing day by day. As of October 11, 2022, the level of Lake Sevan is 1900.42 m, which is 11 cm lower than the indicator of the same day last year. This happens when, water intake from the lake has not been not carried out since September 18. According to the data provided by "Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center" of RA Environment Ministry, 165.063 million cubic meters of water have been withdrawn from Lake Sevan.

After stopping the release of water, , the level of Lake Sevan made up 1900.48 m as of September 20. It turns out that after stopping the release of water from Lake Sevan, the level of the lake has already dropped by 6 cm.
