At the end of 2014 it’s supposed to start developing Teghout copper and molybdenum mine in Teghout Forest, Lori Region. The Armenian Government has allotted 1940.801 ha of area to ‘Vallex’ Group companies for these activities.

We are presenting the photos before the launch of Teghut project, during its launch and the photos made by ‘Vallex’ Group, when all the project infrastructures have been almost accomplished.

Before the launch of Teghut project you can see clean springs and Teghout forest, where 26 red-listed animal species and 6 plant species inhabit, as well as IUCN-listed two butterfly species and one lizard.

 
 
 
 

The other photos show the scale of forest felling, as well as how the construction works eliminate the Shnogh River, how the environmentalist is standing next to the only blossomed tree, where already a road runs.

 
 
 
 
 

The company photos made this year show nothing has left from nature, water and forest.

This is an open pit mining, which occupies an area of 200.9 ha.

 
 
 

This is a tailing dump, which is constructed in the gorge of Kharatanots River – in the area of 110 ha.

 
 
 
 

This is an ore dressing plant, which occupies an area of 274.526 ha together with other objects.
