Mining

Referring to Amulsar mining project, the journalists asked a question to the Minister to what extent the complaint of Gndevaz villagers is go\rounded, who oppose to the mining project and are going to sue.         

 In reply, the Minister said, “When implementing any project, there are people who support the project and there are people who oppose, but there is reality is that we take into consideration the opinion of the majority. At the same time, professional approach showed that mainly people who complain, it’ all ostensible: I can clearly say that we are on the right track. We should understand we shall be able to use the resources we have. What about mining, as Nature Protection Minister I have made it clear several times that our country needs capacities and strengths and our people need working places. If we don’t use these opportunities, who will provide us opportunities tomorrow for us to develop or to get stronger?”
