In 2018 Environmental and Soil Inspection Body the annual program of inspections intended to inspect 250 business entities, whereas on 31.12.2018 the inspection body had carried out 85 inspections, out of which 48 are based on the annual program of inspections, 37 on the assignment of the Prime Minister, on the basis of letters and complaints received from other state bodies. As of October 1, 2019, the inspection body has carried out 100 inspections on the basis of letters and complaints received from other RA state bodies and on the assignment of RA Prime Minister. According to the official document, the supervision showed that the environmental damage amounted to more than 3.6 billion AMD in 2018-2019. In 2018, 1,618,899,340 AMD damage was caused to the environment and 172,623,380 drams of damages was credited into the state budget, while in 2019 450,649,726 AMD was transferred to the state budget. In 2018 and 2019, 2522 violations were recorded by the inspection body. In 2018, out of 1,089 offenses detected during the year, the use and protection of the flora was considered to be the most risky with 767 offenses. In 2019, the use and protection of flora with 830 offenses has also been considered more risky.
