Starting from September a plastic recycling plant will start its operation in Yerevan, while from February-March 2012 this plant will start recycling paper as well. The civil works for garbage recycling plant are in progress in Shengavit administrative region.
“Cleanland” Company was founded two years ago. Garbage sorting stations already operate in Vanadzor and Gyumri, and such a center is designed to open in Hrazdan as well. The towns have concluded an agreement with the company, which says in upcoming 25 years all the household garbage will be provided to this sorting and recycling company, and the latter will provide 3 million AMD per month to the town budget.
