The issues of Kura and Araks River basin, as well as the issues of transboundary protected areas created by Armenia and Georgia in Javaxq will get wider response. For this reason special coordinators will be appointed by Armenian Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan and Khatuna Gogaladze, Cabinet Minister for Environment and Natural Resources of Georgia, who will raise issues of bilateral interest. This arrangement has been made in the frames of Armenian Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan’s visit to Georgia, as the Information and Public Relations Department of Nature Protection Ministry informs.
Reminder: the delegation headed by Armenian Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan visited Georgia on 17 September to take part in the annual meeting of EAT Task Force.
In the frames of the visit Aram Harutyunyan had bilateral meetings with Simon Upton is the Environment Director at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Brendan Gillespie – Environmental Department Head at OECD. The Minsiter has presented the governmental policy run in the Republic of Armenia, the implemented and perspective programs.
