“Let's Do It!” and “Armenia without Garbage” – Slogans Worth To Be Followed

“Armenia without Garbage” is a slogan, which “Let's Do It!” world movement has selected for preparing a big action. The Association of Young Biologists acts in Armenia in the frames of this movement. The Chairman of the Association Arsen Gasparyan in his conversation with EcoLur said that different events are to be taken. The most important point is that the garbage won’t just be collected, but sorted. “Special attention will be paid to forest zones, river banks, natural and cultural monuments,” he said. “Let's Do It!” world movement was launched in Estonia in 2008. Within one day 50,000 volunteers collected 10,000 tons of household garbage. The largets garbage collection in Armenia is planned for 15 September.
